MY Galileo G is the second Explorer of the Vitriuvius series realised by Picchiotti in collaboration with Vitriuvius Ltd and Philippe Briand.
With a reinforced steel hull and all the characteristics mandatory to comply with the requirements of Ice Class 1B, Galileo G is a true voyager with a range reaching 9000 miles at the cruise speed of 11 knots.
On top of it, Galileo G features an extraordinary set of equipments needed to cruise the most extreme latitudes, being the Nort-Western Passage in the Arctic Sea or the most faraway pacific islands.

The steel hull of Galileo G has been realised to face the extreme Arctic climate therefore reinforced accordingly to the Ice Class category. Beyond the structural reinforcements and propulsion enhancements needed to navigate through ice, this yacht features an array of machinery and systems that allows her to function safely and continuously at very low temperatures and extreme conditions.
Interiors
Inspired by the culture of the great explorations and voyages of the past, Galileo G interiors are a very classical with teak and mahogany finishing and every little detail onboard tells the story of a great passion for the nature and different cultures.
The owner’s art collection includes refined and selected pieces of indigenous art that – matched with the classic boiserie and fabrics – concur in creating a style of great elegance and prestigious heritage.
