M/Y Golden Compass formerly Southerly 46 m – 342 GRT
1982- A supreme vision of Italian Seafaring
Launched in 1982 by the Picchiotti shipyard, Golden Compass is more than a yacht: she is the embodiment of a promise, an Italian mastery that endures through time and defines maritime elegance.
LINES & AMBIENCE With exterior architecture by Arthur De Fever and interiors styled by Valerian Rybar, Golden Compass radiates a balance of classical grace and contemporary poise. Her silhouette carries restraint and proportion, while her interiors whisper refinement without excess.
PERFORMANCE & CAPABILITIES Measuring 46.3 metres with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she combines solidity with elegance. Twin Caterpillar engines of 900 hp each deliver a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles. Designed to host twelve guests in six cabins, supported by a crew of eleven, Golden Compass remains a creation conceived for comfort and endurance alike.
